Section 320: Prohibition of tethering of animals etc

The Nagaland Municipal Act,2001State Act of Nagaland · Act 10 of 2001

1. No person shall tether any animal or cause or permit any animal to be tethered in any public street.

2. No person shall milk or cause or permit to be milked any cow or buffalo or other animal in any street.

3. Any animal tethered or any cow or buffalo or other animal found being milked as aforesaid in any street, may be removed by the Chief Officer of the Municipality or any officer or employee of the Municipality authorized by it in this behalf and be impounded and dealt with under the provisions of the Nagaland Cattle-trespass Act. 1985.
