Section 379: Sanction of scheme by Government

The Nagaland Municipal Act,2001State Act of Nagaland · Act 10 of 2001

The Government may sanction either with or without modifications, or may refuse to sanction, or mayo return for reconsideration, any scheme submitted to it by the Municipality under sub-section (7) of Section 378.

2. If a scheme returned for reconsideration under sub-section (1), is modified by the Municipality, it shall be republished in accordance with the provisions of section 378.

a. in every case in which the modification affects the boundaries of the area comprised in the scheme or involves the acquisition of any land not previously proposed to be acquired; and.

b. in every other case, unless the modification is, in the opinion of the Government, not of sufficient importance to require republication.
