Section 442: Bill-sticking without permission

The Nagaland Municipal Act,2001State Act of Nagaland · Act 10 of 2001

1. No person shall, without the consent of the owner or occupier or other persons for the time being in charge, affix any pasting bill, notice, placard or other paper or means of advertisement against or upon any building, wall, tree, board, fence, or pole or write upon, soil, deface or mark any such building, wall, tree, board, fence or pole with chalk or paint or in any other way whatsoever.

2. Notwithstanding anything contained in Section 474, a court may take cognizance of an offence under sub-section (1) upon the complaint of the owner or occupier or other person in charge of the property in respect of which such offence is alleged to have been committed.
