The Nalanda University Financial Regulations, 2013Central Regulations · 2010

(1) The Vice-Chancellor or officials authorized by the Vice-Chancellor shall be allowed to receive cash or cheques on behalf of the University for which a provisional receipt shall be issued immediately and the said amount shall immediately be deposited in the designated bank account or temporarily kept in the safe custody of the office of the University if the bank is not open.

(2) The official authorised to accept such amount shall subsequently ensure issuance of final receipt within two working days.
