(1) If the result of the examination is found to be erroneous, the Board of Examiners shall have power to get such result rectified with the necessary approval of Vice Chancellor provided, the errors are reported or detected within six months from the date of declaration of results and if any error is detected thereafter, the same shall be placed before the Board of Examinations for rectification.
(2) For the purpose of sub-ordinance (1), the following errors shall be taken into consideration, namely:-
(a) error in computer or data entry, printing or programming and the like,
(b) clerical error in totaling or entering of marks in file,
(c) error due to negligence or omission of examiner or any other person connected with evaluation, moderation and result preparation.
(3) If the result of Examination has been published and subsequently, it is found that the result has been obtained by fraud or malpractices exercised by the examinee, the Board of Examination shall revise the result of such examinee at any time.
