Explanatory Note (This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
As per section 19 of the Haj Committee Act 2002 (Central Act 35 of 2002), Government have to publish by notification in the official Gazette, the names of the persons nominated by the State Government as members of the Kerala State Haj Committee under sub-section (1) of section 18 of the said Act. The members of Kerala State Haj Committee has been nominated vide G.O(P) No.22/2021/GAD dated 11th August, 2021 and SRO was not published in the official Gazette. For the smooth functioning of the Committee, the name of Shri. Umer Faizi K.
has been included in the Kerala State Haj Committee in place of Dr.Bahavudeen Muhammed Nadvi by making subsequent amendment in G.O(P) No.22/2021/GAD dated 11 th August, 2021 and accordingly published in G.O(P) No.24/2021/GAD dated 16th September, 2021.
This Notification is intended to achieve the above object.
