The provisions of sections 41, 42 and 43, shall so far as may be, apply in relation to the offence punishable under Chapter IV and relating to coca plant, the opium poppy or cannabis plant and for this purpose references in those sections to narcotic drugs, or psychotropic substance [or controlled substance], shall be construed as including references to coca plant, the opium poppy and cannabis plant.
