(afiaramfififianfiar/m’afifmmw mmmmmmmfil mm mwammmwammmasm, emxmmml NATIONAL HIGHWAYS AUTHORITY OF INDIA NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th August, 20l2 The National Highways Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Fourth Amendment Regulations, 2012 I No. NHAI/llOll/17/201le I (Vol. VI)-— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35, read with section W the“National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988 (68 of 1988), the National Highways Authority of India hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the National Highways Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 1996, namely: -
1. Short title and commencement:- (1) These regulations may be called the National Highways Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Fourth Amendment Regulations, 2012.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette and the pay scales prescribed in Column 4 of the Schedules annexed hereto in para 4;
- [WW-111761113 4] W 3F! W 23191911171 below shall come into effect from the date prescribed in the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2008, as amended from time to time.
2. In regulation 1 1 of the National Highways Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the principal regulations), after clause
(b) of sub—regulation (3), the following clauses shall be inserted, namely:- ' “(c) to the Group ‘A’ technical posts in the grades of Deputy Manager (Technical) and Manager (Technical), the Selection Committee will comprise of three officers (not below the rank of Chief General Managers) to be nominated by the Chairman.
(d) to the Group ‘A’l technical post in the grade of Deputy General Manager (Technical), the Selection Committee will comprise of a Member (Technical / Project) and three Chief General Managers to be nominated by the Chairman.
(6) to the Group ‘A’ posts in the grade of General Manager, the Selection Committee will comprise of Chairman and two Members to be nominated by the Chairman.
Provided that in each Selection Committee constituted under clauses (b), (c), (d) and (e) above, a Group-‘A’ officer of appropriate rank belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe shall also be inducted as a Member, in case no member of the Selection Committee belongs to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe.”
3. CORRIGENDA ~ In para 2 of the National Highways Authority of India Notification No.NHAI/l 101 1/17/2012-HR.I(Vol.I), pertaining to National Highways Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Second Amendment. Regulations, 2012, published on 24lh July, 2012, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part 111 Section 4 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the word and figure “Regulation 1 1” may be read as “Regulation 12”.
4. In the Schedule to the principal regulations, the Schedules prescribing eligibility criteria and qualifications for the following post shall be substituted, namely:- “Stenographer Grade ‘D’ Staff Car Driver.” RAJIV YADAV, Member (Administration) [ADVT Ill/4/122/ 12/Exty.]

(ii) with five years of regular service in the post canying the pay scale of PB—] (Rs.5200-20,200) with Grade Pay of Rs.l900/- (in CDA pattern);
and possessing the essential educational qualification and essential experience stipulated in column 7.

(3) By contract / direct recruitment from candidates possessing essential educational qualification and essential experience stipulated in column 7.
Period of deputation Not more than three years but may be extended / curtailed with the approval of the Competent Authority.
