Section 22: Power to make regulations.

The National Jute Board Act, 2008Central Act · Act 12 of 2009

(1) The Board may, with the previous approval of the Central Government, by notification in the Official Gazette, make regulations consistent with the provisions of this Act and the rules generally to carry out the purposes of this Act.

(2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such regulations may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:--

(a) the manner in which the business of the Board shall be conducted under sub-section (9) of section 3; and

(b) the terms and conditions of service of the Secretary and other officers and employees of the Board under section 4.
