Section 22: Search and Selection Committees

(1) The Executive Committee shall constitute a Selection Committee for the purpose of selecting the post of officers of the Law University and for preparing a panel of persons to be considered for appointment as such constitute a Search Committee consisting of two members from the High Court consisting of Chief Justice, Judges or such person nominated by the Chief Justice of the High Court and three prominent members of the State Government having special knowledge in law, management, parliamentary affairs, education and humanities. (2) The Executive Council shall constitute various Selection Committees for appointment to the posts of officers and non-teaching staff including last grade service and contingent staff. The Procedure for appointment of members of Selection Committees and the procedure to be adopted by the Committees shall be as may be prescribed by the Statutes or the Regulations as the case may be.
