Section 2: Definition

National Legal Services Authority (Lok Adalat) Regulations, 2009Central Regulations · 1987

In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires, -

(a) Act" means the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (39 of 1 987).

(b) 'Lok Adalats' means Lok Adalats to be organized under Section 19 of the Act.

(c) all other words and expressions used but not defined in these regulations and defined in the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (39 of 1987) or the National Legal Services Authority Rules, 1995 shall have the meaning respectively assigned to them in the said Act or rules.
