Section 35: Functions of Nursing and Midwifery Advisory Council.

The National Nursing and Midwifery Commission Act, 2023Central Act · Act 26 of 2023

(1) The Advisory Council shall be the primary platform through which the States and Union territories may put forth their views and concerns before the National Commission and help in shaping the overall agenda, policy and action relating to nursing and midwifery education, services, raining and research.

(2) The Advisory Council shall advise the National Commission on measures to determine and maintain, and to co-ordinate maintenance of, the minimum standards in all matters relating to nursing and midwifery education, services, training and research.

(3) The Advisory Council shall advise the National Commission on measures to enhance equitable access to nursing and midwifery education, services, training and research.
