Section 31: Disability due to negligence or misconduct

Where the disability of an officer was wholly or partly due to his serious due to his serious negligence or misconduct, the competent authority may reduce the rate of disability pension admissible to him to such extent as the authority may, in the circumstances of the case, consider reasonable.
