Section 62: Division of family pension

The Navy (Pension) Regulations, 1964Central Regulations · 1957

(1) if an officer leaves behind two or more widows who are eligible for special family pension or gratuity or an ordinary family pension, the pension or gratuity may, by order of the Central government, be divided amongst them.

(2) If in a case where a family pension has been divided, one of the recipients dies or is disqualified, the share of the recipient may, in the circumstances of the case as may appear relevant of the Central Government, be paid to the other recipient or if there is more than one recipient, divided amongst them.
