Section 9: Discontinuance of pension on change of nationality

The Navy (Pension) Regulations, 1964Central Regulations · 1957

Where a person who is in receipt of a pension or allowance under these regulations becomes a naturalized citizen of a foreign State, the Central Government may, by order, direct that the whole pension or allowance or any part thereof to be specified in the order be discontinued:

Provided that an order under this regulation shall not be made unless the person concerned has been given an opportunity to make his representation and the representation has been considered by the Central Government.
