Section 2: Definitions

(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(a) “Act” means the New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Act, 2019 (17 of 2019);

(b) “Centre” means the New Delhi International Arbitration Centre established under section 3 of the Act;

(c) “Chairperson” means the person who is appointed as Chairperson under section 5 of the Act;

(d) “Member” means the person who is appointed as Full-time Member under section 5 of the Act.

(2) ‘The words and expressions used in these rules and not defined, but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
