Section 4: Salary and allowances

(1) The Chairperson, shall be paid a salary of Rs. 2,25,000/- p.m. (fixed) (Level 17 of the Pay Matrix), and other allowances and benefits, as are admissible to the Central Government officer holding the post carrying the same pay.

(2) The Member shall be paid a salary of Rs. 1,82,200/- p.m. (fixed) (Level 15 of the Pay Matrix), and other allowances and benefits as are admissible to the Central Government officer holding the post carrying the same pay.

(3) In case of a person appointed as Chairperson or Member is in receipt of any pension, the pay of such person shall be reduced by the gross amount of pension drawn by him.
