No. 18-6/70-LDI, [23/3/1978] - The Transport of Animals Rules, 1978Central Rules · 1960

(a) Any dog or cat reported to be vicious or exhibiting a vicious disposition shall be transported individually in a cage, muzzeled and labelled to give warning to the handlers.

(b) In extreme cases, the dogs and cats shall be adminsitered with sedative drugs by a qualified verterinary surgeon.
