1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the National Jute Board Rules, 2010.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their "publication in the Official Gazette. ' •
2. Definitions.—(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,—
(a) "Act" means the National Jute Board Act, 2008;
(b) "Form" means Form appended to these rules.
(2) Words and expressions used herein and not defined, but defined in the Act, shall have the meanings r

7. Annual Report.—The Board shall prepare its annual report in Form 1 and submit a copy'thereof to the-Ce following year and the Central Government shall place such annual report on the Table of both Houses of Parliament
8. Annual statement of accounts and other relevant records.—(1) At the end of a period of twelve months ending w prepare the following financial statements :—
(i) Balance Sheet in Form 2;
(ii) Income and Expenditure Account in Form 3;
(iii) Receipts and Payments Account in Form 4.
(2) The annual statement of accounts duly approved by the Board shall be submitted to the Comptroller an 30th June following the year to which the accounts relate who shall audit the accounts of the Board and report thereon.
(3) The annual statement of accounts duly adopted by the Board and after certification by the .Comptroller and A auditor's report thereon, shall be submitted by the Secretary of the Board to the Central Government before 30th September fol
