D - e - m b ^ r , 1986, N O T I F I C A T I O N i\i Gt.S0R./^^^ (S),- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 87 of the Punjab Re-organisation Act, 1966 (31 of 1966), the Central Government hereby extends to the Union territory of Chandigarh, the enactments specified in column (1) of the Schedule hereto annexed, subject to the modifications specified in the corresponding entries in column (2) of the said schedule.

(1) (2) 1* The last Punjab War ' 1. In section 2, for the words Awards (Amendment) Act, and figures 'The East'Punjab 1957/. (2 of 1968), War Awards Act, 1948, the words and figures "The Bast Punjab War Awards Act, 1948, as in force in the Union territory of Chandigarh" shall be substituted^
2. In section 2, in clause (iii)
(b) for the words 'State of Punjab1 the words "Union terri tory of Chandigarh" shall be substituted*
