Kसह, संयु) त सिचव MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) (CENTRAL ECONOMIC INTELLIGENCE BUREAU) (COFEPOSA UNIT) ORDER New Delhi, the 31st March, 2014 S.O. 992(E).—Whereas the Joint Secretary to the Government of India, specially empowered under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (52 of 1974) issued Order F.No.673/10/2013-Cus.VIII, dated 18.02.2014 under the said sub-section directing that Shri Krishan Kumar Arora @ K.K.Arora, S/o Late Shri Kartar Chand, R/o House No. E-34, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi-110027, be detained and kept in custody in the Central Jail, Tihar, New Delhi with a view to preventing him from smuggling the goods in future.
2. Whereas the Central Government has reasons to believe that the aforesaid person has absconded or has been concealing himself so that the order cannot be executed.
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs the aforesaid person to appear before the Commissioner of Police, Delhi within 7 days of the publication of this order in the Official Gazette.

Dakshin Chatra, P.S.Baduria, Distt. 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal-743401, be detained and kept in custody in the Presidency Correctional Home, Kolkata with a view to preventing him from smuggling the goods in future.
2. Whereas the Central Government has reasons to believe that the aforesaid person has absconded or has been concealing himself so that the order cannot be executed.

2. Whereas the Central Government has reasons to believe that the aforesaid person has absconded or has been concealing himself so that the order cannot be executed.
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs the aforesaid person to appear before the Commissioner of Police, Delhi within 7 days of the publication of this order in the Official Gazette.
