(E). -In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of order/notification as stated in column (5) of the Table below, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints officers mentioned in column (6) to act as a Common Adjudicating Authority to exercise powers and discharge duties conferred or imposed on officers mentioned in column
