In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 7 and 8 A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby notifies that there shall be levied, collected and retained fees on mechanical vehicles, for the use of the Four Lane Raipur-Durg Section between km 281.000 to km 307.600 of NH-6 in the State of Chhattisgarh at the rates specified in Schedule hereunder and having regard to the Concession Agreement dated the 8th May 2003 entered into with M/s DSC-VICON Ventures Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi having its registered office at C-66 , South Extension, Part -II , New Delhi- ll 0049,. to build, operate and transfer the Four Lane Raipur Durg Section of NH76. and for the service provided by it, hereby authorizes the said M/s DSC-VICON Ventures Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi or its authorized legal representative to collect and retain fees at the rates specified in the said Schedule from the date of publication of the notification in the Official Gazette and until the 2nd March, 20 15. 3 4 THE GAZEITEOF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY [PART Il-5EC. 3(ii)]

(i) the President of India;
(ii) the Vice- President oflndia;
(iii) the Central and State Minister;
(iv) the Leaders of Opposition of Lok Sabha or R.<yya Sabha or State Legislatures having the status of Cabinet Mini~ter ; (vJ the Governors of State ;
(vi) the Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories;
(vii) the Speakers or Chairman of Central and State Legislatures ; ('<iii) the Executive Councilors of local elected bodies; ~----------- --- ['WTH-WJS3(ii)]
(ix) the Foreign dignitaries on State visit to India ;
(x) the Foreign Diplomats Stationed in India using car with CD symbols ;
(xi) the Members of State Legislative Assembly/ Council in their constituencies ;
(xii) a Member of Parliament;
(xiii) the Members of State Legislative Assembly/ Legislative Council of Chhattisgarh ; (B)
(i) Defence Vehicles;
(ii) Police Vehicles ;
(iii) Fire Fighting Vehicles ;
(iv) Ambulances;
(v) Funeral Vanes ;
(vi) Post and telegraph Department Vehi~les;
(vii) Central and State Government VehiCles on Duty ; (C) Vehicles belonging to Winner of Gallantry awards such as Paramvir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Kirti Chakra, Vir Chakra, Shaurya Chakra, if such awardee produces his photo identity card duly authenticated by the competent authority for such award. The above mentioned rates shall be displayed on a Board erected at conspicuous places in the vicinity of the Toll Plaza, being legibly written in English, Hindi and the regional language of the area in which the four Lane Section is situated. Every driver, owner or person-in- charge of the mechanical vehicles shall, before crossing the Four Lane Section or after having crossed it, stop his vehicle at the cross bar and pay the fee leviable in respect of the vehicles at the fee. collection booth. The Person authorized by M/s DSC-VICON Ventures Pvt, Ltd, New Delhi, to collect fee in respect of any mechanical vehicle crossing the Four Lane.
