Notification on Recruitment Regulations, 2017Central Regulations · 2001

Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, Ex- Servicemen and other specified categories of persons, in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

(b) possessing any one of the following qualifications:-

(i) A pass in the subordinate accounts service or equivalent Exam conducted by any of the Organised Accounts Departments of the Central Government;

(ii) Successful training in the Cash and Accounts Work in the ISTM or equivalent training course or minimum of three years of experience (four years, if the post is in Level 8 in the Pay Matrix) in Cash, Accounts and Budget work.

Note 1: The Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, the deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion,.

Note2: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organisation/Department of the Central Government shall not exceed three years).
