PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) प्राजधकार स ेप्रकाजित PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY िल िजि मतं्रालय (िल ससंाधन, नदी जिकास और गगंा सरंक्षण जिभाग) ऄजधसचूना नइ ददल्ली, 27 िुलाइ, 2020 का.अ. 2443 (ऄ.).— केन्द्रीय सरकार ऄन्द्तर राजययक नदी िल जििाद ऄजधजनयम, 1956 (1956 का 33) की धारा 14 की ईपधारा (1) और ईपधारा (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करत ेहुए, भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन िल संसाधन मंत्रालय की ऄजधसूचना संखयांक का.अ. 169 (ऄ), तारीख 2 ऄप्रलै, 1986 द्वारा, ईसमें जनर्ददष्ट पंिाब समझौते के कजतपय जिषयों के सत्यापन और न्द्याय जनणणयन के जलए, रािी और व्यास िल ऄजधकरण का गठन दकया था, और, ईि ऄजधकरण न ेकेन्द्रीय सरकार को ऄपनी ररपोर्ण तारीख 30 िनिरी, 1987 को ऄपनी ररपोर्ण केन्द्रीय सरकार को ऄग्रेजषत थी;
और, केन्द्रीय सरकार ईि ऄजधजनयम की धारा 5 की ईपधारा (3) के जनबंधनानुसार ईि ऄजधकरण को, पूिोि ररपोर्ण पर ऄपेजक्षत स्ट्पष्टीकरण और मागणदिणन के जलए तारीख 19 ऄगस्ट्त, 1987 को ऄजतररि जनदिे ददया था;
और, केन्द्रीय सरकार ईि ऄजधकरण द्वारा अगे की ररपोर्ण को पूरा करन ेमें दकय ेिाने िाले िृहत कायण को ध्यान में रखते हुए, ईि ररपोर्ण देन ेकी ऄिजध को समय-समय पर तारीख 5 ऄगस्ट्त, 2020 तक बढायाबढ़ाया था;
और, केन्द्रीय सरकार, ईि ऄजधकरण द्वारा ईल्लेख दकय ेगए ऄन्द्तिणजलत कायण की ऄत्यािश्यकताओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए, ईि ऄिजध को तारीख 5 ऄगस्ट्त, 2020 के पश्चात ्एक िषण के जलए बढ़ाया िाना अिश्यक समझती ह।ै ऄतः, ऄब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, ऄन्द्तरराजययक नदी िल जििाद ऄजधजनयम, 1956 (1956 का 33) की धारा 5 की ईपधारा (3) के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करत ेहुए, ईस ऄिजध को, जिसके भीतर ईि ऄजधकरण आस प्रकार स.ं 2156] नइ ददल्ली, सोमिार, िुलाइ 27, 2020/श्रािण 5, 1942 No. 2156] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, JULY 27, 2020/SRAVANA 5, 1942 सी.जी.-डी.एल.-अ.-27072020-220693 CG-DL-E-27072020-220693 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] ददय ेगए जनदेिों पर ऄपनी ररपोर्ण केन्द्रीय सरकार को भेि सकेगा, 5 ऄगस्ट्त, 2021 तक अगे बढ़ाती ह ैऔर ईस प्रयोिन के जलए भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन िल संसाधन मंत्रालय की ऄजधसूचना संखयांक का.अ. 905(ऄ), तारीख 5 ऄगस्ट्त, 2003 में जनम्नजलजखत और संिोधन करती ह,ै ऄथाणत ्:- ईि ऄजधसूचना के ऄंजतम पैरा में िब्दों, ऄंकों, ऄक्षरों िब्दों, ऄंकों और ऄक्षरों “5 ऄगस्ट्त, 2020 तक” के स्ट्थान पर िब्द, ऄंक और ऄक्षर “5 ऄगस्ट्त, 2021 तक” िब्दों, ऄंकों और ऄक्षरों को रखे िायेंगे। [फा.सं. एन-59012/1/2020-बी.एम.]

2176(ऄ), तारीख 10 ऄगस्ट्त, 2015, का.अ. 2571(ऄ), तारीख 29 िुलाइ, 2016, का.अ. 2458(ऄ), तारीख 2 ऄगस्ट्त, 2017, का.अ. 3949(ऄ), तारीख 9 ऄगस्ट्त, 2018, का.अ. 2754(ऄ), तारीख 1 ऄगस्ट्त, 2019 द्वारा बढ़ाइ बढाइ गइ थी। MINISTRY OF JAL SHAKTI (Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th July, 2020 S.O. 2443 (E).— Whereas the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 14 of the Inter-State River Water Disputes Act, 1956 (33 of 1956), constituted the Ravi and Beas Waters Tribunal for verification and adjudication of certain matters of the Punjab Settlement, referred therein, vide notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Water Resources, vide number S.O.
169(E), dated the 2nd April, 1986, and the said Tribunal forwarded its report to the Central Government on the 30th January, 1987;
And whereas, further references have been made by the Central Government to the said Tribunal on the 19 th August, 1987, requiring explanation and guidance on the report aforesaid, in terms of sub-section (3) of section 5 of the said Act;
And whereas, considering the enormous exercise undertaken by the said Tribunal in completing its further report, the Central Government extended from time to time the period of making the said report, till the 5 th day of August, 2020;
And whereas, the Central Government, keeping in view the exigencies of the work involved, as pointed out by the said Tribunal, considers it necessary to extend the said period for one year after the 5 th day of August, 2020;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (3) of section 5 of the Inter- State River Water Disputes Act, 1956 (33 of 1956), the Central Government hereby further extends the period, [भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : ऄसाधारण 3 within which the said Tribunal may forward its report on the references so made, to the Central Government till the 5th day of August, 2021, and for that purpose, makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Water Resources, number S.O. 905(E), dated the 5th August, 2003, namely:- In the said notification, in the last paragraph, for the words, figures and letters “till the 5 th day of August, 2020”, the words, figures and letters “till the 5 th day of August, 2021” shall be substituted.
