Panaji, 15th July, 2004 (Published in official Gazette series II No. 19 (Extraordinary) dated 5 th August, 2004) ________ -3- Notification No. DE/PLG/HSS/TUE/61/P.T.II/01 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Goa Coaching Classes (Regulation) Act, 2001 (Goa Act 27 of 2001), the Government Goa hereby appoints the following officers to be competent authorities for the purpose of the said Act, with immediate effect. 1) Assistant Director of Education, Central Education Zone, Panaji. 2) Assistant Director of Education, South Education Zone, Margao. 3) Assistant Director of Education, North Education Zone, Mapusa. Panaji, 15th July, 2004 (Published in official Gazette series II No. 19 (Extraordinary) dated 5 th August, 2004) -4- Notification No. DE/PLG/HSS/TUE/61/P.T.II/01 In exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to section 4 of the Goa Coaching Classes (Regulation) Act, 2001 (Goa Act 27 of 2001), the Government of Goa herby permits the teachers working in Government run or Government funded Educational Institutions to conduct coaching classes outside School/College hours by charging fees in the subjects of Sanskrit, French & Portuguese. I.B/Part (a)/542 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Goa Coaching Classes (Regulation) Act, 2001 (Goa Act 27 of 2001) and in suppression of the earlier Notification No.DE/PLG/HSS/TUE/618/P.T.II/01 dated 15-7-2004, published in the Official Gazette (Extraordinary), series II No. 19, dated 5-8-2004, the Government of Goa herby specifies in the schedule hereto the fees to be payable by a student to a coaching class.

3. Higher Secondary
(i) Std. XI Rs. 4000/- for all subjects per year
(ii) Std. XII Rs. 6000/- for all subjects per year
4. Special category (Certificate Lower Level) (Certificate course in computer training, vocational trade, etc.) Rs. 6000/- per year
5. Diploma level course (including those conducted in institutes of computer training, vocational trade, etc.) Rs. 5,000/- per year
6. Degree Level Course Rs. 5,500/- per year
7. Special Classes (including those which conduct coaching and crash courses for competitive examinations and entrance level test) Rs. 7,000/- per year
8. Fine Arts Rs. 4,000/- per year
