(Amendment) Act, 2022 Series I No. 29 (Extraodinary-2) dated 20-10-2022 3 ESG/Events/19-20/FSP/Policy/5253 date 19-1-2023 Section 1(2) Series I No. 43 dated 27-01-2022 4 Section 3(1) Series-I No. 37 dated 14-12-2023 5 Section 8(1) Series-I No. 37 dated 14-12-2023 -2- GOVERNMENT OF GOA Department of Home Home-General Division Notification 9/32/2020-HD (G)/6058 The Government of Goa is pleased to fix the charges for carrying out film shooting only at designated space between Gate ‘A’ and Gate ‘B’ of Central Jail, Colvale as per the rates mentioned below:- 1) Rate for half day: Rs. 5,000/-; and 2) Rate for full day: Rs. 10,000/- The applicant shall take prior permission/ NOC from Inspector General of Prison, Panaji Goa and shall pay the requisite charges in advance in the Government Treasury. The permission shall be issued based on the following terms and conditions:-

1. There shall be no obstruction/hindrance to the operation and working of Prison.

2. Film Shooting to be done only at the designated time as specified by the Prison Authority.

3. Film shooting should not cover any Prison staff or Prisoners. Official and Statutory signboards of the Prisons shall be covered during the film shooting.

4. Film Shooting unit Members shall not establish any contact or interact with the Prisoners.

5. Prisons authority may impose additional conditions as deemed fit.

The Inspector General of Prisons shall ensure compliance to guidelines issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Goa Prison Manual and Goa Prisons Rules, 2021 while issuing the permission/NOC for the film shooting at Space between Gate ‘A’ and Gate ‘B’ of Central Jail Colvale. Inspector General of Prisons shall submit Annual Returns of film shooting and the revenue generated to the Government in the month of May of every year.

This issues with the concurrence of Finance (Exp) Department vide their U.O. No. 1400084354 dated 07-01-2022.

––––––– The Goa (Regulation of Film Shooting) (Amendment) Act, 2022 (Goa Act No. 32 of 2022) [12-10-2022] AN ACT Be it enacted to amend the Goa (Regulation of Film Shooting) Act, 2021 (Goa Act 29 of 2021) by the Legislative Assembly of Goa in the Seventy-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the Goa (Regulation of Film Shooting) (Amendment) Act, 2022.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of section 7.— In section 7 of the Goa (Regulation of Film Shooting) Act, 2021 (Goa Act 29 of 2021) (Hereinafter referred to as the “Principal Act”), for the expression “Imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to five lakh rupees or with both”, the expression “fine which shall not be less than fifty thousand rupees, but may extend to five lakh rupees”, shall be substituted.

(Published in the Official Gazette Series I No. 29 (Extraodinary-2) dated 20-10-2022) -4- GOVERNMENT OF GOA Department of Information & Publicity ––– Notification ESG/Events/19-20/FSP/Policy/5253 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Goa (Regulation of Film Shooting) Act, 2021 (Goa Act 29 of 2021), the Government of Goa hereby appoints the 12th day of October, 2022, as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Goa (Regulation of Film Shooting) Act, 2021 (Goa Act 29 of 2021), the Government of Goa hereby designates the Chief Executive Officer of the Entertainment Society of Goa as a Competent Authority.
