1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This order may be called the Goa Revision of Tariff for Water Supply and Sewerage Order, 2013.

(2) This Order is for Fixation of Water Tariff and other charges for all categories.

(3) This shall come into force with effect from 1st April, 2013. (A) (1) Domestic Consumers: (i) Rs. 2.50 per m3 upto 25m3.

(ii) Rs. 7.00 per m3/above 25m3 upto 35m3.

(iii) Rs. 10.00 per m3/above 35m3/upto 50m3.

(iv) Rs. 15.00 per m3/above 50m3. Minimum Charges shall be Rs. 40/- per month. In respect of registered Co-operative Housing Societies and as well as non-register Co-operative Housing/Colonies which have been single Water Supply connection covering more than one number of residential flats, the basis for the tariff shall be number of flats in the Housing Society depending on the single house service connection. For example, in case one house service connection feeds say 50 Nos. residential flats in the Co-operative Housing Society shall be charged at the rate of Rs. 2.50 per m3 and above (50x25=1250m3) shall be at the rate of Rs. 7.00 and so on as indicated above for the Domestic Consumers Category at Sl. No. A(1).

(2) Students Hostels/Hospitals/Dispensaries and Educational Institutions and recognized Charitable Trust Institutions Rs. 7.00 per m3 (flat rate) Minimum charges Rs. 70/- per month.

(3) Students Hostels/Hospitals/Dispensaries Business Profession which are not falling within the purview of Goa, Daman & Diu, Shops and Establishment Acts, Educational Institution

(i) Rs. 15.00 per m3 for first 250m3.

(ii) Rs. 18.00 per m3 above 250m3. Minimum charges Rs. 140/- per month. (B) (I) Small Hotels having– No. of restaurants attached to hotel and number of rooms less than 15 with A/c rooms numbering three or less/Government tourist hostels

(i) Rs. 17.00 per m3 for first 80m3.

(ii) Rs. 22.00 per m3 above 80m3. Minimum charges Rs. 170/- per month. (II) Small Restaurant

(i) Non-air conditioned

(ii) Area upto 150 sq.mts.

(i) Rs. 17.00 per m3 for first 80m3.

(ii) Rs. 22.00 per m3 above 80m3. Minimum charges Rs. 170/- per month. -3- (C) Defence Rs. 17.00 per m3 (flat rate). Minimum charges Rs. 170/- per month. (D)(1) Fishing Boat Owners/Operators Association at Jetties in Goa Rs. 15.00 per m3 (flat rate). Minimum charges Rs. 180/- per month.

(2) S.G.P.D.A. Market complex at Margao Rs. 15.00 per m3 (flat rate). Minimum charges Rs. 180/- per month.

(3) Akhil Gomantak Nabhik Samaj Goa Rs. 15.00 per m3 (flat rate). Minimum charges Rs. 150/- per month. (E)(1) Small scale/medium/large and all types of Industries/Hotels (Registered) other than small hotels/small restaurants/tourist hostels Rs. 30.00 per m3 (flat rate). Minimum charges Rs. 280.00 per month.

(2)Commercial/including MPT/Bar/Cinema Theatres/Constructions/Establishments registered under the Goa, Daman & Diu Shops and Establishment Act, 1974 including building construction Rs. 35.00 per m3 (flat rate). Minimum Rs. 300.00 per month.

(3) Public water taps installed into the Municipality/Panchayat areas Rs. 300/- per tap be charged to the concerned Municipality/Gram Panchayat (per month).

(4) Supply of water by tankers:

(i) Small tankers upto 6m3

(ii) Big tankers between 6m3 to 10m3 Rs. 700.00 per trip. Rs. 900.00 per trip. (F) Sewerage Charges (1) Domestic– 25% of the water consumption charges for domestic.

(2) Non-Domestic– 35% of the water consumption charges.

(3) In case of consumers who consume water other than that supplied by the Government, the billing will be done on the actual quantity consumed from all the sources as assessed by the Department. (G) Connection Charges(I) Water Supply Sector:

(1) Domestic/small hotels and small restaurants/Akhil Gomantak Nabhik Samaj Size of connection

(a) 15mm./20mm.

(b) Above 20mm. upto 25mm.

(c) Above 25mm upto 50mm

(d) Above 50mm Rs. 600.00 Rs. 1500.00 Rs. 2000.00 Rs. 5000.00

(2) Other than domestic/small hostels/small restaurants/Akhil Gomantak Nabhik Samaj Size of connection

(a) 15mm/20mm.

(b) Above 20mm. upto 25mm.

(c) Above 25mm. upto 150mm. Rs. 2500.00 Rs. 5500.00 Rs. 12000.00 (II) Sewerage Sector connection to Sewerage System:

(1) Domestic Size of connection

(i) Upto 150mm. dia.

(ii) Above 150mm. dia. Amount per connection Rs. 200.00 Rs. 350.00

(2) Non-Domestic -4- Size of connection

(iii) Upto 150mm. dia.

(iv) Above 150mm. dia. Amount per connection Rs. 1000.00 Rs. 2000.00 Delayed payment charges and reconnection charges (i) The delayed payment charges at the rate of 2% per month shall become due and payable, if bill is not paid on or before due date of payment specified in the water bill. The delayed payment charges will be rounded off to nearest rupee.

(ii) The water supply/sewerage connection is liable for disconnection in case payment of any of the water/sewage bills remains overdue for more than two (2) months.

(iii) The reconnection charges shall be Rs. 300/- for domestic.

(iv) Reconnection charges shall be Rs.1000/- for non-domestic. (H) Meter Rent Size of Meter

1. 15 mm.

5. 50 mm.

6. 80 mm.

7. 100 mm.

Non-Domestic Rs. 250/- per meter per test -5- Note: In case of special connections the tariff and the connection charges of diameters shall be decided by the Department on case to case basis. (Publish in the Official Gazette Series I No.4 dated 25-4-2013) -6- Government of Goa Department of Public Works Office of the Principal Chief Engineer Order No. 24/7/PCE/PWD/EO/2017-18/59 In pursuance to Article 32.1 read with Article 32.2 (a) & (b) of the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Sewage and Infrastructural Development Corporation Limited of the State of Goa, the Government of Goa is pleased to reconstitute the Board of Directors of Sewage and Infrastructural Development Corporation Limited, as under, with immediate effect:

1. Hon’ble Minister for PWD — Chairman.

2. Shri Sanjiv Desai, R/o Khadapaband, Ponda — Vice -Chairman.

3. Secretary (PWD) — Director.

4. Finance Secretary or his nominee not below the rank of Under Secretary from Finance Department — Director.

6. Managing Director of the Corporation — Director The Board of Directors may invite special invitees for Board meetings as and when required depending upon exigencies. (Publish in the Official Gazette Series II No.16 dated 20-7-2017) -7- Government of Goa Department of Public Works Office of the Principal Chief Engineer Notification 8-4/PCE-PWD-Accts/2021-22/06 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Goa Sewerage System and Sanitation Services Management Act, 2008 (Goa Act 14 of 2009), the Government of Goa hereby makes the following rules so as to amend the Goa Sewerage System and Sanitation Services Management Rules, 2010, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement. — (1) These rules may be called the Goa Sewerage System and Sanitation Services Management (First Amendment) Rules, 2019.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of rule 10.— In rule 10 of the Goa Sewerage System and Sanitation Services Management Rules, 2010 for sub-rule 5, the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:— “(5) As soon as sewerage facility is made available in the area/locality a public notice shall be issued in the local newspaper and also notice shall be served on consumer, stating that sewerage facility has been developed in that area by Government and that every person occupying a premises within 100 mts. radial distance from such sewerage facility shall avail house sewer connection within a period of two months from the date of issue of such notice, failing which, a penalty at the rate of 25% of water consumption charges shall be leviable on defaulting occupier for a initial period of six months and at the rate of 50% of such charges for further period of one year and thereafter the essential services such as water supply and electricity shall be liable for disconnection”. Panaji, 23rd April, 2021 (Published in the Official Gazette Series-I No.5 dated 29-4-2021) -8- Government of Goa Department of Finance Debt Management Division Notification 18/5/2025-Fin(DMU)/8892 Date: 20-May-2025 All the Sewage Tankers operating in State of Goa shall be mandatorily registered with Sewerage and Infrastructural Development Corporation of Goa Ltd. with payment of one time fees of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only). If the tankers are already registered with various Sewerage Treatment Plants (STP’s) in State of Goa and unloading sewage in STP’s, the sewage tankers shall adhere to the following:

1. The SEWAGE TANKERS shall be painted in “MUSTARD YELLOW” colour and shall have “SEWAGE TANKER” written on both sides and front of tanker.

2. Similarly, tanker used for conveyance of Treated Sewage Water from STP’s for non-potable use shall be painted in “GREEN” with “TREATED SEWAGE TANKER” written on both sides and front of the tanker. All concerned are requested to meet the above requirements by 21st June 2025, failing which, Sewage Tankers and Treated Sewage Tankers shall not be allowed in STP’s without registration and colour coding assigned for the vehicle.
