(6) For cattle (Cows, buffaloes, oxes, sheep, goat, pigs and horses), the charge will be Rs. 50/- per 12 cattle or part thereof Cattle shall not be transported with public.
(7) The special trip charge is for the, ferry with the person engaging the special ferry. Extra persons, vehicles etc. will be charged extra as usual. -9-
(8) Motor cycle/scooter with side car will be charged at double the normal rate for scooter and jeeps with trailer will be charged at double the normal rate for Jeep. (Published in the Official Gazette Series-I No. 46 dated 14-2-2013) -21- Notification RND/Admn/1/338/2374 In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (a) and (c) of section 3 of the Goa Ferries Act, 1990 (Goa Act 9 of 1990) (hereinafter referred to as the “said Act”), the Government of Goa hereby declares the Adpai-Rassaim ferry to be a public ferry, which shall be deemed to be situated in the District of North Goa for the purposes of the said Act and further defines that the water way routes connecting the ramps/jetties used by the said public ferry shall be the limits thereof. (Published in the Official Gazette Series-I No. 46 dated 14-12-2013) ______ -22- Industries and Labour Department Notification I&L/(V)/12/66/1439 The amended list of Priorities indicated below, are the only Priorities applicable on all the Ferry Services with immediate effect: i) Seriously ill/hurt cases requiring urgent medical attention. Doctors/Ambulances responding to urgent calls for treatment or collection of patients are also entitled to <Priority>. ii) Official organised parties proceeding to assist in natural calamites e.g. Fires, Earthquakes, Floods, etc iii) Lieutenant Governor. iv) Ministers of the Popular Government and the Speaker. v) Members of Legislative Assembly while proceedings to attend the Assembly Session. vi) Judicial Commissioner. vii)Chief Secretary. viii) Station Commander of Armed Forces. ix) Naval Officer-in-Charge, Goa. x) Transport of mails. xi) Airline Vehicle proceeding to or from Dabolim Airfield. xii) Transporting of Armed Forces/Police personnel proceeding on special tasks of an extremely urgent nature only certified as such personaly by the S.S.P, Station Commander or Naval Officer-in- Charge, Goa. If in an emergency said requisition cannot be produced, a confirmation within 24 hours of the authorities will have to be sent failing which priority will not be allowed in future. (Note: The Priority is for the individuals mentioned above themselves and not for their vehicles if they are travelling without them)
2. Civilian personnel belonging to various Government Departments proceeding on special tasks of an extremely urgent nature shall between the hours of 7 a.m and 7 p.m obtain prior sanction from the Office of the Captain of Ports at Panaji .Between the hours of 7 a.m and 7 p.m priority may be obtained at the ferry points for very urgent works only but in such cases the Heads of Department shall within 24 hours certify that due to very urgent work priority was utilised. In public interest, the Heads of Departments are requested to use extreme discretion when desiring <Priority>.

(6) The special trip charge is for the ferry with the person engaging the special ferry. Extra persons, vehicles, etc, shall be charged extra as usual.

(7) Motor-cycle/Scooter with the side car shall be charged at double the normal rate for scooter and jeep with trailer shall be charged at double the normal rate for jeep.
(8) Special trip charges shall be regulated as below: Only one vehicle (4/6 Wheeler) alongwith driver is permitted within the special trip rate. Extra passenger and vehicles to be charged at normal rate. OR 25 passengers are allowed within the special trip rate, extra passengers and vehicles to be charged at normal rate.
(9) Physically' handicapped student shall have 100% concession and non-studying disabled person 50% concession in fares. For this purpose, the physically handicapped person must be a holder of identity card issued by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Panaji.
(10) No charges for children upto the age of 12 years.
(11) For season tickets, students have been allowed 70% concession.
