NOTIFICATION MAHARASHTRA MEDICAL COUNCIL ACT, 1965.

No. MMC. 0920/C.R.75/Adhiniyam.— The following draft of rules which the Government of Maharashtra proposes further to amend the Maharashtra Medical Council Rules, 1967, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (2) of section 30 of the Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965 (MAH. XLVI of 1965) and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, is hereby published as required by sub- section (1) of section 30 of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that, the said draft will be taken into consideration by the Government of Maharashtra on or after the 30th August 2021.

2. Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the Secretary, Medical Education and Drugs Department, G.T.Hospital Campus, 9th Floor, Lokmanya Tilak Road, Mumbai 400 001, from any person with respect to the said draft, before the aforesaid date, will be considered by the Government.

DRAFT RULES

1. These Rules may be called the Maharashtra Medical Council (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

2. In rule 36 of the Maharashtra Medical Council Rules, 1967 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Rules”), for the words “rupees one hundred” the words “rupees two thousand” shall be substituted.

3. In rule 52 of the principal Rules, for the words “rupees sixty” the words “rupees two thousand” shall be substituted.
