Section 25: Appointment, etc. of managers and guardians

The Odisha Court of Wards Act, 1947State Act of Odisha · Act 26 of 1947

(1) The Court may appoint managers for the property, and guardians for the person, of any ward, and may control or remove any manager or guardian so appointed:

Provided that it shall not appoint a guardian for a person who has become a ward in pursuance of an order under Section 20 or who has been declared to be disqualified under Clauses (e) and (f) of Section 10.

(2) Any appointment made under this section shall terminate when the Court ceases to exercise superintendence over the person for whom a guardian, or over the property for which a manager, has been appointed,
