Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

Odisha Education Act, 1969State Act of Odisha · Act 15 of 1969

(1) This Act may be called the Orissa Education Act, 1969.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Orissa.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by 2Notification, appoint in that behalf.

2. Came into force w.e.f. 15th October, 1969-vide Education Department Notification No. VEMG-205/68-24757, dated the 15th October, 1969, published in the Orissa Gazette, dated the 31st October, 1969, Pt. III, p. 981.
