Section 42: Prohibition of cutting fruits - bearing trees

The Odisha Forest Act, 1972.State Act of Odisha · Act 14 of 1972

The State Government may by notification, from time to time prohibit the cutting of fruit-bearing trees specified in the notification which are standing on any land (other than land which is the property of Government or over which the Government have proprietary rights) and the cutting of which is likely to lead to fall in agricultural or industrial production.
