Section 53: Penalty on pilot disobeying provisions of this Chapter

The indian ports Act,1908State Act of Odisha · Act 15 of 1908

Any pilot incharge of a vessel who disobeys, or abets disobedience to, any of the provisions of this Chapter, shall be punishab le with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees for each instance of such disobedience or abetment, and, in addition, shall be liable to have his authority to act as a pilot withdrawn.
