Section 35: Persons liable to pay the charges under the Act and the extent of such liability

Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force the water-rate and cess shall be recoverable from the owner and the occupier in such proportion as may be prescribed:

Provided that where such charges remain in arrear either the owner or the occupier may deposit the arrear dues in full in order to save the land and
