(1) No court inferior to that of a Judicial Magistrate of First Class shall try any offence punishable under this Act.
(2) No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act, except upon a complaint in writing made by the Authorised Officer or any officer of the State Government or Committee, authorized by the State Government.
16. The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules to carry out all or any of the provisions of this Act.
17. The provisions of this Act or rules made thereunder shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other State laws.
18.(1) The Odisha Land Right to Slum Dwellers Ordinance, 2017 is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance, so repealed shall be deemed to have been done of taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
