The Odisha Land Rights to Slum Dwellers Act,2017State Act of Odisha · Act 3 of 2017

(1) Subject to such rules as may be made, an appeal from any decision or order made under this Act shall lie to such officer as may be appointed by the State Government.

(2) Every appeal, preferred under this section, shall be heard and disposed of in such manner as may be prescribed.

(3) Every order passed by the Appellate Authority under this section shall be final.

CHAPTER IV OFFENCES AND PENALTIES

9. Whoever contravenes the provisions of sub-sections (5) and (6) of section 3 or fails to comply with any notice or order issued under this Act or rules made thereunder, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year or with fine, which may extend to twenty thousand rupees, or with both.
