Clauses (a) to (d) Substituted vide Orissa Act No. 12 of 1993 w.e.f. 1.6.1993 *The Orissa Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1975 Orissa Act No. 39 of 1975 An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to Taxation on Motor Vehicles Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Twentysixth Year of the Republic of India as follows :

1. Short title, extent and commencement. - (1) This Act may be called the Orissa Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1975.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Orissa.

(3) 1[It shall come in to force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in that behalf.]
