Section 8: Status of Personnel and Salary

The Odisha Municipal Ministerial Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2017.State Act of Odisha · Act 478 of 2017

(1) The Officers and employees recruited to the Service shall be appointed and controlled by the Director, Municipal Administration.

They shall not be, in any case, the employees of the State Government. They shall be municipal employees.

(2) The Urban Local Body concerned shall be responsible to meet the salaries, allowances and other financial benefits of the personnel posted in the Urban Local Bodies.
