Section 23: Medical Fitness

Odisha Municipal Services (General) Rules, 2016State Act of Odisha · Act 2389 of 2016

(1) A candidate must be of good mental condition and bodily healthy and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the discharge of his duties as an Officer/employee of the Service.

(2) A candidate, who after such medical examination as the Government may decide, is not found to satisfy these requirements, shall not be appointed to the service.

Any candidate called for the personality test by the Director, Municipal Administration may be required to undergo medical examination. No fee shall be payable for such Medical examination.
