(I) The seniority of officers appointed in the cadre of Livestock Inspectors shall be determined on the basis of their position secured in the list prepared under sub-rule (5) ofrule 11:
Provided that the promoted officers shall enbloc the senior to the direct recruits appointed in a particular year.
(2) The seniority of the officers appointed to the cadre of Veterinary Technicians by promo tion shall be fixed according to the order in which their names appear in the list prepared under sub-rule (3) of rule 14.
Interpretation 18. If any question arises relating to the interpretation of these rules, the same shall be referred to the Government for decision.
Repeal and savings.
19. All rules, orders and instructions corresponding to these rules and in force immediately before the commencement of these rules are hereby repealed:
