Section 12: Educational Achievements--- Marks shall be awarded for educational achievement in High School Certificate Examination or other equivalent examination in the following manner, namely

Substituted vide Home Department Notification No.31833 dt. 24.07.2018 Academic Qualification Percentage of marks secured Mark awarded High School Certificate 61% and above 5 Marks or equivalent 51% to 60% 3 Marks 41% to 50% 1 Marks Compartmental / No Mark Supplementary / less than 41% Note: Marks shall be awarded if the examination has been cleared in 1 st attempt.

(2) No mark shall be awarded for higher academic qualifications
