Section 15: Constitution of Standing Committee

The Odisha Reservation of Vacancies in Posts and Services (for Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes) Act, 1975State Act of Odisha · Act 38 of 1975

(1) There shall be a Standing Committee consisting of the following members, namely :–

(a) Minister 1[Harijan and Tribal Welfare] .... Chairman

(b) Five members of the Orissa Legislative Assembly to be elected in such manner as may be determined by the speaker. ... Members

(d) Secretary to Government, Home Department ... Members 8

(e) Secretary to Government, 1[Harijan and Tribal Welfare] Department. ... Members

Provided that on issue of a proclamation under Article 356 of the Constitution of India, the composition of the Committee may be altered by the State Government to such extent as they deem fit.
