If in accordance with the provisions of this Act the Utkal University ceases to hold the Matriculation Examination from any particular year, the State Government shall make an annual grant of One lakh and twenty five thousand of rupees to the said University from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State with effect from the commencement of the financial year immediately following such year, for a period of five years on the termination of which the State Government may consider whether such grant will be continued and if so, whether unaltered or altered and for what period.
