Section 9: Acceptance or resignation

Odisha Secondary Education Act, 1952State Act of Odisha · Act 10 of 1953

(1) No resignation tendered by a member of the Board other than elected members shall valid until it has been accepted by the State Government and no resignation tendered by a member of a Committee appointed under section 19 shall be valid until it has been accepted by the Preident of the Board.

(2) Any elected member may resign his seat by writing under his hand addressed to the President and his seat shall thereupon become vacant.
