PART I GENERAL. SCOPE
1. These Regulations may be called the Shri Jagannath Temple (Employees Travelling allowance) Regulations,

9. The ~dministration Committee may ·by :gen~l or special order direct that the o~dinary rates of any viariety of travelling allowance shall be increased either in definite ratio or in any other suitable manner for any or any class of employees travelling iri ariy locality in i which travelling is usually expensive. 10. For the :purpose of calculating travelling a1lowahce employees of the Temple are divided into two grader as ·1ollows : ~
(a) · Employees in receipt ef basic pay of more than rupees fifty to be called superior gr .. de. {b) Employees in r~ceipt basic pay up to rupe.es fifty to be called inferior grade. I '. The principles laid down in the Orissa Travelling ·Allowance Rules with regard to drawal of travelling allowance, conveyance allowance, mileage allowance, daily allowance and aclual travelling expenses shall be followed whi~e· drawing these alluwances by the emp· loyees uncler f p_e:' Temple ·Administration subject to the orders of the Administrator. (b) Inferior ... Grade Employee ·- Rupees two per day. ~ote-(i) For rhe purpose of daily allowance full allowance can be claimed if more than twelve hours have been spent ou~side ::the headquarters and allowance ca~ be daimed a(ha1f rate where the duration is more than six hours and below twelve hours, ·.
(ii) Any tour performed within a radius of 8 Kilometre fro~ Hle · headquarters of an employee, will not be ad~ie~ffile for a daily allowance. Note-If an employee carried his personal effects by passe nger train instead of by goods train he may .draw the actual cost of carriage up to limit of the amount which would .have been admissible had he ~ansported by goods trcfi:ii.

An employee who takes iea:ve of any kind not excee ding one month after he has handed ~over charge of his old post and before he has take~ -over charge of his new post is entitled(~hether the order of transfer is received before or after the commeneement of his leave to Trave-;. , , Bing Allowance ::~nder these regulations. tJ . .
27. In case of jo~mey outside the · State.· of Orissa in connection with the duties of Shri Jagan~ath Temple an em,ployee of the ~~perior grade will be allowed to draw daily aliowance·_,Qf· Jllpees · twelve and an employee of ,. inferiar grade to :a~~ daily allowance of rupees eight for the days he mak~s :halts outside the State. l.f.o» •. 28. Travelling ~!lowanoe for any kind of journey other than those 4eaJ( · with in these regulations may be disallowed in f~~lpr in ·part by the Administrator, provi ded an appeal · ~~inst such decision of the Administrator shall lie to the: Managing Committee -,:~ose decision shall be final and binding.
