The Sri Sri University Act, 2009State Act of Odisha · Act 18 of 2009

(1) The Deans of the University shall be appointed by the Vice Chancellor, with the approval of President acting as Chairman of the Board, from amongst the Faculty of the University as prescribed by the Regulations.

(2) The Deans shall assist the Vice-Chancellor in managing the academic and other affairs of the University and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed by the Regulations or be entrusted to them by the Vice-Chancellor.
