Section 10: Officer-in-charge of police districts, police subdivisions and police stations

Odisha Urban Police Act, 2003State Act of Odisha · Act 8 of 2007

(1) Each police district shall be under the charge of a Deputy Commissioner, who may be assisted in the discharge of his duties by one or more Additional Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners.

(2) Each police subdivision shall be under the charge of an Assistant Commissioner and each police station shall be under the charge of an Inspector or Sub-Inspector of Police.
