Section 121: Officers holding changes of or succeeding to vacancies to exercise powers

Whenever in consequence of the office of the Commissioner, or any other police officer becoming vacant, any officer holds charge of the post of such Commissioner or other police officer or succeeds, either temporarily or permanently, to his office, such officer shall be competent to exercise all the competent to exercise powers and perform all the duties respectively conferred and imposed by under this Act on the Commissioner or such other police officer, as the case may be.
