The Central Government has notified the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules to implement the recommendations made by the Fifty Pay Commission effective from 1st day of January, 1996. It is, therefore, necessary that the amendment to the Oil Industry Development board Employees’ (General Conditions of Service) Rules is also given retrospective effect from 1st day of January, 1996. It is certified that the retrospective effect being given to these rules wi ll not affect adversely any employee to whom these rules shall apply.
